Home care services are 26 activities carried out in the home that make everyday life easier for families and provide support for young children, frail, elderly or disabled people. They are defined by the Article D.7231-1 of the French Labour Code<\/a>.<\/p>

In order to benefit from the tax and social security advantages offered by the French government, a declaration from the service provider is required for all 26 activities. Approval and authorisation are mandatory for certain activities aimed at vulnerable groups.<\/p>

A multi-service contractor, commonly known as a \u2018jack of all trades\u2019, offers a variety of services in different fields of activity. A multiservice micro-business owner can, in particular, provide services to other professionals.<\/p>\n

Multiservice work is generally identified as work that does not fall within the scope of the 26 activities recognised as personal services. IT assistance is an introduction, commissioning or training in the use of non-professional IT hardware or software, with a view to enabling everyday use. To be considered a personal service, IT assistance must be provided at the customer's home.<\/p>\n

Services permitted within the scope of home care services:
<\/strong>\u2013 Home computer assistance and repair services;
\u2013 Backup and recovery of personal data;
\u2013 Repair and troubleshooting of computer equipment at home;
\u2013 Delivery, commissioning and installation of computer equipment (computers, peripherals, tablets, etc.) and software at home;
\u2013 Installation at home of equipment sent by internet service providers (internet box, Wi-Fi repeater, etc.);
\u2013 Introduction to the operation of computer equipment;
\u2013 Home maintenance of computer hardware and software.<\/p>\n

In addition to installation and maintenance, home IT support also provides an opportunity to learn and train in IT.<\/p>\n

It is therefore possible to receive training in the following areas:
<\/strong>\u2013 Training in the use of a computer (PC or Mac), tablet or smartphone;
\u2013 Training in the use of search engines for the purpose of searching for information or accessing secure websites;
\u2013 Training in the use of software or an email system in order to be able to send and receive emails;
\u2013 Training in the use of social media to stay in touch with loved ones, reconnect with old friends, or meet people who share the same interests;
\u2013 Training in taking photographs and sending them via a smartphone or tablet;
\u2013 Training in the use of online public services (taxes, health insurance, etc.);
\u2013 Training on how to complete the online Income Tax Return;
\u2013 Training in the use of online dating sites;
\u2013 Training in posting classified ads on a second-hand sales website;
\u2013 Training in placing online orders without risk to personal data;
\u2013 Etc.<\/p>\n

As part of our home IT support services, we are committed to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the data we process and to ensuring that it is backed up.<\/p>\n
